Thanks to all the troupes who attended TALENT the weekend of September 9th!  Look under resources for the complete TALENT 2011 Handbook.  We would love to have some feedback on how TALENT XXIII went.  Please take just a few minutes to answer the questions on our survey!

What's TALENT?  In some ways it's hard to describe.  Sure, there's the leadership training that focuses on working in groups, spending the night on a floor, time management, dealing with stress, and did we mention sleeping on the floor?  But TALENT is much more.  TALENT is networking for both students and sponsors. In past years, more than 20 schools from across the state attended the weekend workshop.

 TALENT is also finding out what other schools do with their Thespian troupes in terms of fundraising, initiations and troupe officer roles.  You also learn more about the International Thespian Society and what it has to offer you, such as the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska and scholarship opportunities for your talented students.

Are you, or directors do you have, a student leader interested in being a  member of the Illinois Thespian Student State Board?

fill our your portion and hand ask your Thespian Director to fill out the rest and send it in!

Please have all forms sent to the address listed on the form by January 1, 2012.

Student Board members will be notified at the TALENT Reunion at the Illinois High School Theatre Festival in January.
