 New Opportunity: Chapter Select One-Act Plays

 

Illinois Thespians is excited to announce Chapter Select One-Act Plays — a virtual opportunity open to all schools! Submit a one-act or approved cutting for adjudication, receive professional feedback, and compete for the chance to represent Illinois at the International Thespian Festival.

•  Cost: $60 per entry

•  Video Submissions: Oct. 1 – Dec. 12, 2025

•  Finalists Announced: Jan. 8, 2026

•  Live Showcase: TALENT @ Addison Trail H.S., Feb. 21, 2026

Why Participate?

• Get professional adjudicator feedback to strengthen your work.

• Build skills that directly support IHSA Contest Play prep.

• Earn the chance to perform your one-act at the International Thespian Festival and represent Illinois on a national stage.​
